Project 2010 See Week #7 here.

This is worth having a look at.
I couldn't get the video to post,
but you can link to it
Wow.
It's quite a journey he is on.
Don't you think we can ALL do better?
You will be shocked to see the opposition he faces.
Go Jamie Oliver!!
And I predict Alice will have a change of heart.
I sure hope so!

So grab a healthy snack and enjoy the show!

(Thanks to my cute friend,
Jenny who informed me about this!)

Dancing in Afton

Check here for week #6 ~ Project 2010

HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY!
(a day early!)
*hope you have all found some luck this month*
Our luck was being able to spend time with every family member
this month with the exception of Brady who was working hard in Michigan. (We miss you, Brady!)

Here is a slide show with some photos of Emily's trip to Afton with Insishfre and some time we squeezed in with Liam and Dani while they had an all-day layover in SLC on their way home from Alaska. (We got in some great visiting - ate at In & Out Burger, explored the Aquarium in Sandy and finsihed the day off with yummy salads from Wingers!) Dani is due in May with a little girl and we can't wait! Mark and Davis stopped by Lindsey's on their way to Vegas. Davis is going to work down there for the summer - and may decide to stay and go to school. Time will tell. There are videos in this slideshow and I am working to get them by themselves below. The first two are just a rehearsal but is kind of fun to see their footwork. Em is on the far left. The soft shoe - look for Emily in back left. Her partner is the poor girl who falls. In the hard shoe - She is on the far right. The lighting was not too good so our little flip struggled a bit capturing.

Em

Emily was a doll on the stage tonight. We love her and so enjoy the times we get to see her sparkle on stage. She has such a love for dance...she takes after her sister, Janell.

Family and Celebrating

This past week has been a wonderful week filled with family and special occasions. Emily performed with her Irish Dance Group Inishfre at Celtic Night at the Eccles Center this past weekend. She will also be on the road for for the next two weekends traveling to Idaho and Wyoming for performances there. It was such a treat to have both sets of grandparents as well as Davis and Janell down from Portland to share the night with her. As you can see in the pictures she is beautiful and we all loved watching her. She is very fortunate to be able to dance with this group as she is by far the youngest on stage. We are very proud of her! I am hoping to get some footage of her at the next performance so I can post her in action.

The following day our sweet little granddaughter Molly was given a name and blessing by her father. We had a house full of 24 after the meeting and enjoyed a lovely lunch and visiting together with the Firth & Christensen sides. Families are the best! We are certainly connected to some very special people.

Lindsey smocked the beautiful little blessing dress and did a wonderful job with it.
Molly looked like a little princess! She was so worn out from the busy weekend and all the lovin' she got that she slept a good portion of the day.
