Blessings

We had a houseful this year, but wouldn't have wanted it any other way.  Our count was 41.
Leisa roasted one 20lb turkey and Mark smoked one the same size.  Grandma Joan brought a ham.  There was enough leftover turkey for those tasty sandwiches the next day that we almost enjoy better than the meal!
Jug and Shelley were so sweet to come up the night before and help us get everything set up.
They orchestrated everything in the studio kitchen.
Boys waiting patiently for their table to be called

These two enjoyed putting their feet up while they watched the goings on in the room.
You have to rest up before the pie comes out!!

The offerings this year were Pumpkin, Cheese Cake, Pecan, Banana Cream,
Coconut Cream, Lemon Cream, Apple and Oatmeal Coconut Pecan

So happy to see Tyler (center) he just returned from his mission in San Antonio the day before!!

A little sliver of several puts a smile on your face every time!!

A little Thanksgiving Football...

a collection of some of those boy cousins...more like brothers!

Jim and Bridger had a blast in the wood shop.  They are trying their hand at carving fish.
They both petitioned for a week long camp in Uncle Mark's wood shop next summer;)

So grateful for this room

Twelve is one of those perfect ages.

That night we listened to Scott tell us about a recent trip to India.  Jim organized What If... and we laughed til our sides hurt.  Out came the leftovers and some savory snacks.  What a wonderful time.

30+ adventurous souls spent the night!  The next morning some ventured out into Black Friday.  We enjoyed fresh donuts from Lee's, homemade granola, Egg McMuffins and hot cocoa.  Those men are awesome chefs and dishwashers!!

Emily is off on an adventure with Close Up in DC this week.  She left Sat at 2am.  We have a very quiet house.  To cap off the weekend, we took a wreath over to the cemetery.  It's a peaceful place.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We have many blessings to count.

That's the way Thanksgiving is supposed to be! When I grow up I wanna be like Leisa. (Let's see...... I'm almost 60 - I better hurry up and figure that one out)

Oh Leisa, you make it look so perfect! Probably because you are perfect! Why haven't you been translated?
