A Special Day

December 19th, we were able to take Davis' name through the Mount Timpanogos Temple.

It was a very tender, sweet occasion for our family.  We are so thankful for the support we had from our dear family. It was wonderful to have both sets of his grandparents there with us. (And it was his Grandpa and Grandma Firth's 55th wedding anniversary!) Our little family was able to be in the Celestial Room for the dedication of this beautiful temple many years ago.  Mark and I grew up very near the area this temple was built.

We enjoyed a simple supper together at Kneaders after the temple session.
We all congregated at my parents home after our meal.

(Fun to watch these two discuss the whys and how of the universe :)

I walked into the living room and there were the five of my kiddos together in one place!
That just doesn't happen very often!

Oh how we love these amazing human beings!

It truly was a day I will remember for a very long day.  So much peace and promise.

A few photos from our Flinders Christmas Gathering and a big thank you
to Tracy and Alyssa for opening their home to everyone at the last minute!

Sometimes you just have to wing it and if that means throwing together a Christmas Party at the last minute...why not??  We took advantage of the weekend with most all of us together for Davis' temple work and gather as an extended family to catch up on each others lives.

It was just perfect!

We just asked each family to bring a couple of boxes of their favorite cold cereals and
something to add to the breakfast.  We got some yummy breakfast casseroles, a hot cocoa bar,
fresh fruit, granola and homemade yogurt, homemade cinnamon rolls and some pretty tasty
donuts from the infamous Lehi Bakery!!

That left time for lots of visiting and everyone had happy tummy's!

Tracy and Alyssa have one of the most beautiful homes and it
is one of those homes where you feel comfortable immediately
because it is oozing with love and laughter in every room!

Got to meet
Chae in person :)

Gotta love this barefoot professor and is amazing story
of his Dahl Sheep hunt in Alaska!

Until we gather together again, we love you ALL, Flinders family!!!
