Provo City Center Temple

Provo City Center Temple Visit

A few days ago we were able to go through the Prove City Center Temple open house.  It is one of the most beautiful temples we have ever been in.  The woodwork is exquisite! The murals and stained glass are very beautiful, butI really enjoyed the art hanging on the walls as well.

As you can see in this photo, the original structure of the Provo Tabernacle burned down and maybe that is why there is already such a special feeling inside this temple. All of the history it is built on. They went to considerable effort to rebuild this structure. See this video by BYUtv here

We enjoyed a deliciously different lunch today at Black Sheep in Provo.  Native American cuisine and it was really great!  I want to try to recreate the Green Chili Stew.  We love trying new tastes.

We always enjoy a visit with my parents!  They are the cutest hosts.
Best bed and breakfast we know of!!

We were able to attend the spoken word at the Tabernacle. We sat right behind one of the young men Mark had worked closely with before his mission.  Fun surprise!

We have had a beautiful yet fairly mild winter this year.
This past storm has left a beautiful blanket of snow.
I love the view point from the fire pit.
