Retreat to the Woods for Pasta

We attended a workshop on creativity that my talented friend,  Jessica Parker hosted.

We had the best time learning how to make pasta.

She had lots of great tips she has learned over the years from her trips to Italy.

I think the best part of the day was our drive to Heber.
We had a long chat about creativity and future dreams.

Look at all of these fancy little noodles we made!

Next we made these clever little leather passbook holders.

First time for us to hand stitch leather.
It takes patience, as the needle is a little tricky to pull through.
We perforated the edges with a nifty little tool. That helped!

We had many opportunities to take some beautiful photos in the gorgeous spring light.

The frosting on til was the gourmet Italian meal Jessica asks her husband prepared for us.

Jessica has a beautiful collection of breadboards she has
collected from her travels around the world.

Yay for time with Emily XO

The cool little A Frame Cabin the retreat was held at.

And a big thank you to Jessica and Cole for such a beautiful gathering and inspiration!
