Our Miss Emily has contracted the dreaded Swine Flu. Poor little thing. She has spent the past 72 hours flat down on the couch. We are all doing our best to stay germ-free. Dr. Mark said she would most likely be down for a good 5 days. She is accepting jokes to cheer her up. Benjamin Alexander started the fun with several. Her favorite one was:

We hope you are feeling better. Young Jake Whitehead is very ill also. According to Rita Bechtold, it's pretty rampant in the school system as well. Anyway, get well soon!!!
I am so sorry for you Emily, but why is it that when you are sick the couch is always better than your bed? By the way I love the artwork!!
Ok...so on the way home from the cabin my kids were telling ALL kinds of jokes...of course I can remember none of them...but I will be sure to have them leave you some funny thoughts when they get home from school! I hope you get feeling better soon!
